PHARR, Texas (KVEO) — The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (PSJA) Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department will be having virtual summer camps for middle school students.

According to a release, the summer camps will run through June 18.

Students will have the opportunity to engage in activities related to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

“Students should want to participate so they can keep up with the latest technology skills as well as gain foundational knowledge and skills that will benefit them for their future,” said  PSJA ISD CTE Director Adriana Garcia in the release. “The summer program will also provide an opportunity for them to work with other middle school students from throughout our district.”

The release states the camps will be divided between morning and afternoon sessions for four weeks. Morning sessions will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and afternoon sessions will run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Below is the schedule as stated in the release:

  • Week One: May 26-29 (Tuesday-Friday)
  • Week Two: June 1-4 (Monday-Thursday)
  • Week Three: June 8-11 (Monday – Thursday)
  • Week Four: June 15-18 (Monday-Thursday)
