Proposed Medical Marijuana bill closer to becoming reality

AUSTIN, Texas – The medical marijuana bill proposed by a Rio Grande Valley representative is one step closer to becoming reality.

Known as HB 1365, the measure looks to approve low THC cannabis for medical use by patients with debilitating medical conditions. Last night the bill filed by State Representative Eddie Lucio III passed with a big majority of 121 to 23 votes.
