The Progreso Police Department is reminding its residents it is enforcing the Hidalgo County orders to shelter-at-home.
According to a post, anyone in violation of the order will be arrested and charged with a Class B misdemeanor and transported to the county jail.
The department reminds the public that these orders are meant to keep the community safe and help stop the spread of COVID-19.
