Primera man charged with multiple counts of burglary

PRIMERA, Texas – On Jan. 29 Primera Police officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of El Paso Circle in reference to a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was located in the 3500 block of west Alton Gloor in Brownsville. 31-year-old Jose de Jesus Moncivaiz was located by Brownsville Police inside the vehicle.

During the course of the investigation it was determine that Moncivaiz was in possession of several Social Security cards and other identification items that did not belong to him. It was also determined that Moncivaiz had committed a total of three Burglary of Vehicles prior to him allegedly stealing the vehicle that he was found in possession.

Moncivaiz was charged with three counts of Burglary of a Vehicle a State Jail Felony

One count of Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information a State Jail felony

One count of Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle a State Jail Felony

Municipal Judge David Wise set bond at $37,500.
