SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas – A massive effort is underway to improve marine wildlife along the western Gulf of Mexico.
Since 2015 the Friends of the RGV Reef have partnered with various state and local agencies to create the largest artificial reefs along the Texas coast. Now the reef is getting ready for some of its biggest deployments yet.
