Police: Suspect of firing shots from moving vehicle charged

Rio Grande City police arrested a man for deadly conduct after reports of shots fired were made.

According to a press release, officers responded to Old El Sauz Road.

A woman told officers she saw a black SUV pass her house when she heard shots being fired.

Police say officers were able to locate the vehicle at a residence, adding detectives also recovered shell casings.

The suspect was identified as Horacio Rocha.

According to the release, Rocha was charged with deadly conduct.
