Contractor wanted for theft turns himself in to police

The Primera Police Department reported Joseph Nicolas Green turned himself into authorities Wednesday morning. Green’s bond was set at $30,000 by Municipal Judge David Wise.

PRIMERA, Texas -The Primera Police Detectives is looking for the whereabouts of a contractor from Brownsville.

According to Primera Police Chief Manuel Trevino, 40 year-old Joseph Nicolas Green, was hired to do a job in Primera in late October, 2019.

Even though Green never competed the job, he was paid in full and refused to refund the victim, according to Chief Trevino.

Green also ignored all phone calls from the victim.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Joseph Nicolas Green is asked to contact the Primera Crime Stoppers at 956-536-0776.
