HARLINGEN, Texas – A K-9, whose handler was arrested for DWI, is no longer working for the Harlingen Police Department. The agency confirms that the dog retired shortly after Officer Wilfredo Guerra was arrested for driving with intoxication levels at over 2 times the legal limit. On Oct. 5th Officer Guerra was found intoxicated at a Chili’s parking lot. He has since been out on bond and on paid administrative leave.
