Police launch homicide investigation after body found near Brownsville airport

A homicide investigation was launched Wednesday following the discovery of a man TMs body near a roadway in Brownsville.

A passerby found 23-year-old Casados Galvan TMs lying on the ground Tuesday near the Brownsville-South Padre International Airport and called police.

Galvan was pronounced dead on the 6900 block of California Road in Brownsville Tuesday morning.

Homicide investigators request the public TMs assistance in locating Galvan TMs 2005 Dodge Neon displaying Texas license plates DWD-2067.

An autopsy was ordered to determine a cause of death, according to Brownsville police.
