Police identify suspect, victim of deadly McAllen shooting

The McAllen Police Department has identified the victim of a Monday morning shooting. 

Police identified the victim as Noel Jesus Valenzuela, 28, from McAllen. 

Authorities have charged 23-year-old Vicente Coronado with murder. 

The McAllen Police Department received reports of a shooting on the 1500 block South Eighth Street at 11 a.m. Monday.

Coronado’s total bond was set at $1.12 million: $1 million for the murder charge, $100,000 for possession of marijuana and $20,000 for evading arrest.
