Police identify lead suspect in shooting near Brownsville nightclub

Police identified a 30-year-old man as the lead suspect in the shooting near a nightclub in Brownsville on Sunday, in which four people were shot. 

Brownsville police are searching for Marcos Antonio Hernandez in connection to the shooting at the Chaparral Night Club parking lot, where four people were shot at about 2 a.m. on Sunday.  

Investigators obtained four warrants for his arrest on aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges, according to a Facebook post by the Brownsville Police Department. Police consider Hernandez to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Brownsville Crime Stoppers at (956) 546-8477. Callers with information leading to an arrest can be eligible for a cash reward.
