An autopsy was ordered Friday after a man’s body was found behind a Dollar General in the city of Hidalgo.

According to police chief Rudy Espinoza, a local bank employee called police at approximately 1:30 p.m. after finding an unresponsive body behind the store. The man is described as a Hispanic man in his 60’s and a resident of Hidalgo.

Initial investigation appeared to show that the man died of natural causes, according to Hidalgo investigators. No evidence of foul play was present.

The man was found with an ID and money still inside his wallet.

Police say the man is known to to be a frequent traveler to Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
