Pinning ceremony for Vietnam War Veterans set for Aug. 22

MCALLEN, Texas – Congressman Vicente Gonzalez announced the new rescheduled date for the Vietnam War 50th anniversary commemoration lapel pinning ceremony for those in the 15th District of Texas.

The event will be held virtually on Saturday, August 22 at 1 p.m.

The congressman’s office said veterans who are eligible to receive a Vietnam lapel pin must have been on active duty between November 1, 1955 and May 15, 1975. Veterans and their family members are welcome to register.
