Police have arrested 14 people after a prostitution sting in McAllen.
Investigators conducted the prostitution sting on Wednesday and Thursday, according to a news release from the McAllen Police Department.
Police arrested three women and 11 men during the two-day operation.
All 14 people were charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor. They are:

Eloy Rios Cantu, 49, of McAllen
Hipolito Ramirez, 77, of San Juan
Armando Medina, 55, of McAllen
Miguel Barron, 22, of McAllen
Jose Genaro Salinas, 65, of Alton
Robert Lewis Droze, 83, of Mission
David Cuellar, 55, of McAllen
Ovidio Noriega, 52, of Mission
Manuel Garcia, 24, of McAllen
Tina Marie Sanchez Likeness, 32, of McAllen
Elizabeth Garza Medrano, 40, of Mission
Janett Delangel, 25, of McAllen
Delangel had a history of prostitution, according to Hidalgo County court records.
Investigators arrested Delangel on June 10 during a prostitution sting at the La Casita Motel on South Fourth Street, according to police records. During the sting, Delangel offered to have sex with an undercover policeman for $45.
Delangel later pleaded guilty to prostitution.
Court-at-Law Judge Sergio J. Valdez granted Delangel deferred adjudication, ordering her to pay a $400 fine, perform 40 hours of community service and remain on probation for two years, according to court records.
Police also detained two men on Thursday “pending charges,” according to the news release.
