An organization in the Valley is encouraging residents to go out a vote during the 2020 elections.
ARISE Adelante is aiming to inform registered voters to participates in the election.
As part of their effort, members of the organization have been going door to door to distribute the information.
A press conference was held on Tuesday to mark the start of early voting.
“There’s a lot of Hispanics that live around here so it’s really not in our culture to go out and vote,” said Mary Gow, Get Out and Vote Coordinator. “So, I believe they’re lacking that information, they’re lacking the importance that they can make for just going to vote.”
