Officers arrested a 26-year-old Minnesota man at the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge on Tuesday after discovering nearly 96 pounds of meth hidden within his recreational vehicle.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers encountered the man from St. Paul, Minnesota Tuesday upon his arrival to the Pharr International Bridge, according to an agency news release.

After referring the man to secondary inspection, officers – with the help of a K-9 team – discovered about 96 pounds of methamphetamine hidden within the tan 1990 Fleetwood RV.

Officers seized the meth and RV and arrested the 26-year-old. The man was later turned over to the custody of Homeland Security Investigations for further investigation.
