The Texas Department of Public Safety has released new details following an officer-involved shooting in Brownsville.
The shooting occurred Sunday at 2 a.m. on the 600 block of Florence Lane.
A news release stated that the shooting involved one police officer from the Brownsville Police Department.
The shooting resulted in the death of a man.
The case is being further investigated by the Texas Rangers.
