If you are the type to get your weather information directly from the National Weather Service’s website, you are in for a treat. The agency is working on a makeover for their website.
According to Meteorologist Barry Goldsmith at the National Weather Service Bureau in Brownsville, the current website is more than two generations old. Though changes haven’t yet been finalized, the agency provided us with a glimpse.
Barry Goldsmith says, “Yeah this version is more device friendly than the one we currently have. For example, the one that I use on my iPhone is really hard on the eyes, as you get older you can’t read all the text. This should be better and a little easier to read at least from the main page at least down to some of the subpages.”
If all goes to plan the new website could be launching by the end of September.
