The Mercedes High School Robotics teams went undefeated at the first tech competition.
The MHS Tigerbots and the Adambots competed in the Tech Challenge Tesla League Meet 2, which took place November 16 in Alton.
The MHS Tigerbots now rank first in the competition, according to a press release. The Adambots are ranked third.
In the release, the school informs the FTC regional contest requires teams to build and design their own robots. FIRST RGV a non-profit organization that promotes science, technology, engineering and mathematics education, sets goals for the students to achieve with their robots.
The third match is set for December 14.
The teams will participate in four meets before the final winner is determined, explained school officials.
The the final match, will be held February 1 in Harlingen, said the release.
