Update:

McAllen police have reported Mrs. Olga Solis has been located.

According to police a citizen reported seeing her after coverage from local media.

Police said Mrs. Solis is in good health and has been reunited with her family

The McAllen Police Department is urging the public to help locate Olga Solis, 72, an elderly woman who has been missing.

Solis is reported to have walked away from the 5000 block of Selinda Drive in McAllen on Friday, May 3, at about 3 p.m. 

Solis was last seen wearing a brown shirt with gray pants. 

According to police, family is concerned for the well being .

McAllen police officers are searching for Solis, but request the public’s assistance.

 Police  encourage anyone who may have seen Solis any time since her departure to contact the McAllen Police Department. 

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Solis is urged to call the McAllen Police Department directly at 956-681-2000.

Olga Solis is described as:

  • Hispanic female,
  • 72 years of age,
  • 5’ 00” in height,
  • approximately 120 pounds,
  • brown (graying) hair,
  • brown eyes,
  • last seen wearing brown shirt with gray pants
  • Anyone with information as to her whereabouts, or has information about Mrs. Olga Solis is urged to call McAllen Police at 956-681-2000.
