McAllen leaders prepare to reopen business properly

MCALLEN, Texas — The city of McAllen is helping businesses prepare to reopen properly.

City Manager, Roy Rodriguez, says his staff is working to make sure businesses have gloves, masks and sanitation materials to be able to reopen properly.

“What we want to do is to provide the information they need to comply with the order that Governor Abbott put out,” said Rodriguez.

Business are expected to reopen as soon as Friday.

Rodriguez adds business must be able to provide curbside and delivery in order to reopen.
