McAllen Carfest 2016 raises money for non-profits

Local News

Three valley non-profit organizations have more funds this evening, courtesy of the McAllen International Carfest. The Make-A-Wish foundation, Palm Valley Animal Center and the Antique Automobile Club of America will receive thousands of dollars each. McAllen’s 2016 Carfest was the biggest and best yet.

More than 300 vehicles were displayed throughout the McAllen Convention Center. The largest car show in south Texas showcased over 60 different categories of vehicles ranging from classic, antique to muscle cars. Not to mention, hot rods and race cars. Each year some of the proceeds are given to non-profits in the valley.
