MCALLEN — In an effort to help local hospitals, Bubba’s 33, a McAllen restaurant, is holding a curbside fundraiser on Wednesday.
A portion of the money collected by the restaurant on Wednesday will go toward helping hospitals purchase personal protective equipment.
“We’re giving ten percent of the proceeds from the sales tonight to hospitals for additional PPE. We know that is really important and in-demand so we just thought it was a great way for us to support our fellow McAllen citizen,” said Dustin Unruh, managing partner.
The fundraiser continues until 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
The restaurant is located at 2608 W. Expressway 83 in McAllen.
