McAllen airport to receive $9 million grant

The U.S. Secretary of Transportation announced Friday in a press release that it will be awarding airport infrastructure grants to nine airports in Texas. 

The McAllen Miller International Airport among them.

The McAllen airport will be receiving $9 million, which will be used to improve airport drainage, according to a release. 

In total, the release states the awards consists of $26.5 million.
