HARLINGEN, Texas — Stefano’s Brooklyn Pizza in Harlingen will be providing food for those in need on Easter Sunday.
Graham Smith, general manager said they will be giving 1,000 plates for free to give back to the community. Only four plates will be allowed per vehicle.
“The 1,000 meals on Easter Sunday is a way to give back. The offer is open to the public and those meals are free to anybody that needs it. We are just trying to say thank you to everybody that’s helping out and doing whatever they can. You know, everybody keeps saying we’re all in this together and it’s absolutely true.” said Smith.
Smith says the restaurant will bring the food out to the vehicles so that no one is put at risk.
He adds all other safety precautions will be in place.
The community can stop by from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 12.
