Local photographer helping to keep military veterans’ stories alive

BROWNSVILLE, Texas – A local photographer is showcasing a photo project honoring veterans around the Rio Grande Valley.

Martin Buitron, a local photographer from Brownsville, is giving back to veterans through his photography. The Veteran Photo Project is showcasing more than a dozen veterans from the Brownsville, Harlingen and Weslaco area.

Buitron hopes to help veterans keep their stories and sacrifices alive. The exhibit can be seen at the Sunrise Mall and is set to be there for the next couple months.
