Local Homeland Security Investigations Special Agents are making sure children have a gift to open for Christmas this year.
Victor Hugas, Supervisory Special Agent of Homeland Security in Harlingen, said that every year their goal is to have the boxes they provide be filled with toys. He stated that they’re going to need extra boxes for next year.
“Our goal is to be able to have children have toys for Christmas, and have something to open, something to play with.”
Monday was the final day for their toy collection. Hugas said that they’ve got about $1,500 worth of toys on hand.
