Local elementary students present “Living” wax museum

Local News

BROWNSVILLE, Texas – For a third year the 2nd grade students of Yturria Elementary got to dress up and make presentations on their research projects. School officials say they are proud of the work their students put forth this year. Adding each year the projects evolve in the living wax museum.

Ms. Carpio, Yturria Elementary, “As part of the 2nd grade curriculum our students need to learn an autobiography about a famous person. This is one activity where they can research, they can learn from it and have fun.”

Teachers say this year’s event was a success and they hope to continue presenting next year.
