RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas – Chick- fil-A restaurants are teaming up Valley-wide for a week of sweetness set to benefit cancer patients.
The restaurant is hosting a fundraiser benefiting children in the Valley fighting cancer and blood disorders and need your help spreading the love. A percentage of all proceeds made from cookie sales this week at any Chick-fil-A will be donated to the Vannie E. Cook Jr. Children’s Cancer and Hematology Clinic. Last year the restaurant was able to donate $20,000.
Michael Hancock, Chick-fil-A operator, “Right now the mission of Chick-fil-A is to become the world’s most caring brand. Locally we can partner with Vannie E. Cook to show care and love to some families who are in need right now that are going through a really difficult time with their kids.”
The fundraiser ends Friday, Feb. 14 and the check will be presented to the clinic on Saturday, Feb 15.
