EDINBURG, Texas – Both Palm Valley Animal Society locations are at capacity. In the effort to save the lives of the sheltered animals, adoption fees are being waived indefinitely.
PVAS officials say the shelters are currently housing more than 770 dogs and continue receiving more every day. Due to its high intake and capacity, PVAS is also extending its hours from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. seven days a week.
If you cannot adopt, you can help by fostering a pet or volunteering
at either center.
