You can help Stamp Out Hunger on Saturday, May 13, 2017, as the National Association of Letter Carriers’ Food Drive celebrates its 25th year helping the hungry.
Just leave non-perishable food items in a bag by your mail box on the morning of Saturday, May 13th and your letter carrier will pick it up. All donations will stay right here in the Rio Grande Valley.
This year, 100,000 brown paper bags will be distributed throughout the RGV to help encourage more donations. The bags were generously sponsored in-part by Orendain & Dominguez Attorneys at Law.
“The letter carriers and rural carriers have always come through in the fight against hunger,” Terri Drefke, Chief Executive Officer of Food Bank RGV.
