La Joya Independent School District is turning to a new app to protect its students from bullies.

La Joya Independent School District is turning to a new app to protect its students from bullies.

“Anonymous Alerts” is a mobile anti-bullying and safety app that allows students to instantly report safety concerns to school officials.

The app also contains support links related to cyber bullying, self harm prevention and mental health.

“This is an effort……..safety in our campuses”

The app is monitored during school days between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Teachers, parents, and students can download “Anonymous Alerts” for free on the App Store or Google Play by using an access code on the school’s website.
