Channel 23 has joined with Rodeo Dental to promote reading among Rio Grande Valley students. Local 23’s Derick Garcia helped kicked off the first Olympic Readers event at Treasure Hills Elementary School in Harlingen.
Derick read the book “Dragons Love Tacos” to first graders. The students were thrilled to hear a story and KVEO is proud to be part of this great community effort. Just part of a reading initiative by your friends at KVEO and Rodeo Dental.
