The latest winners of the statewide community health challenge “It’s Time Texas” have been announced and many are from the Rio Grande Valley.
San Antonio, McAllen, Harlingen, Los Fresnos, and Smithville each won their size categories while PSJA, Harlingen, Los Fresnos and La Feria school districts winning in their size divisions.
McAllen winning for a third year in a row and overall points. Winner points for the challenge were earned by residents logging in their healthy activities on-line.
