This morning the Boys & Girls Club unveiled the Imagination Playground. A portable, interactive playground for children.
The project was donated by UnitedHealthcare and national non-profit KaBoom. Under an agreement with the school district, the playground will travel to Harlingen schools as needed.
Lupita Muniz, Boys & Girls Harlingen, says, “We’re going to house it in the boys and girls club but we are going to send it off to the different schools in the school district that request to use the imagination station.”
The play set includes oversized foam parts that encourages active play and critical thinking skills.
