SAN BENITO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The IDEA San Benito farming program had two of its representatives stop by the NBC23 studio Wednesday.
The representatives said all 12 of their farms help students understand the farming school model where they can participate in hands on learning.
Since 2008 IDEA has been growing its farms for its students.
The aim of the program is to increase equity and access to organic cultivated food.
