An Alton woman was allegedly shot and killed by her husband outside of their home on Wednesday afternoon.
Sheriff Lupe Trevio said that two 11-year-old TMs witnessed this murder. One was a neighbor and the other was the victim TMs youngest daughter.
At 4:30 p.m., 37-year-old Nora Lee Garcia was alledly shot by her husband Miguel Angel Garcia.
Sheriff Trevio said the couple was in the middle of a domestic dispute at the time of the shooting.
We believe he went inside the house and retrieved either a shotgun or a rifle. We believe it may be a rifle, said Trevio. He shot her one time in the back, killing her almost instantly.
Neighbors said the suspect was driving a red Ford pick-up truck when he fled the scene of the crime.
