Hotline available for those needing help following Hurrican Hanna

HARLINGEN, Texas (KVEO) — Rio Grande Valley residents needing help cleaning up after Hurricane Hanna can now contact the Home Cleanup hotline.

According to the webiste, CrisisCleanup.org the hotline will be open as of July 29.

To reach the hotline dial (956) 465-4127.

Residents are encouraged to call for help with things such as fallen trees, removal of damaged drywall, flooring or appliances, tarping roofs or mold mitigation.

A flyer adds the services are not guaranteed as volunteers are the ones performing the work.

The hotline will remain open until Aug. 14, 2020.

It is also mentioned that volunteers cannot assist with social services, shelter, insurance or questions about federal help.
