As the COVID-19 situation continues, healthcare professionals at the frontline of the pandemic are seeing a shortage of medical supplies.
To get more supplies for local physicians, the Hidalgo Starr County Medical Society is hosting a donation drive on Wednesday and Thursday for local doctors for products they desperately need.
Items needed include:
- Unopened N95 masks
- Surgical masks
- Gowns
- Disposable gloves
- Face shields
The donation drive will take place on Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hidalgo Starr Medical Society in McAllen.
Donated materials should be in their original packaging and not be opened.
