HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The family of a missing woman confirmed her body has been found near railroad tracks.
Laura Rodriguez Trejo, 57, was reported missing last month.
Police say Trejo was last seen Sept. 24 at Garcia’s Lounge, located at the 500 block of N. Commerce St.
According to Larry Moore, public information officer with Harlingen PD, the woman’s body was found on Camelot Drive, nearly three miles away from where she was last seen.
Family members say police showed them pictures of tattoos and clothing to help identify the body.
Police are actively investigating the case.
