Harlingen Burglary Suspect Arrested

On Wednesday, January 10, 2019, the Harlingen Police Department arrested 38 year old Francisco Contreras Jr. for Burglary of a Building.

The alleged offense occurred on December 17, 2018 at a business located near the 200 block of North 1st Street in Harlingen.

Harlingen Police Investigators were able to identify Contreras after reviewing video surveillance provided by the business.

During his arrest, Contreras was also found to be in possession of marijuana. He was transported to the Harlingen Police Department without incident.

Contreras is also suspected in additional criminal activity involving businesses on Downtown Jackson Street and may face additional charges.
