H-E-B removes romaine lettuce products from stores

H-E-B is voluntarily removing all products containing romaine lettuce from its stores.

This action is in response to the notice issued by the CDC and FDA to retailers and suppliers to withdraw romaine lettuce harvested from Salinas, California due to potential contamination of E. coli, said a press release.

H-E-B states there have been no reports of illness from their customers to date.

In the release, customers who may have purchased such products are advised to throw it away to return it for a full refund.

Customers with questions or concerns can contact H-E-B Customer Service at 1-855-432-4438 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central Standard Time.
