In an effort to create a safe environment for employers and customers, H-E-B will provide masks to their employees.

H-E-B will provide masks and gloves to all employees starting Saturday, they announced in a release.

This effort also applies to Central Market, Joe V’s Smart Shop and Mi Tienda locations.

“As an essential service provider at this time, masks and gloves are just another safeguard we’ve implemented across our company to protect the health and safety of our Partners, customers and communities,” said Martin Otto, H-E-B chief operating officer. “We are here for all Texans and we take our role to protect public safety seriously.”

According to the release, H-E-B will provide masks as long as they can maintain supply.

H-E-B will continue to look for solutions for customers as well, said the release.
