Border Patrol agents at the Falfurrias checkpoint found 14 people hiding in a grain hauler Monday.

When agents referred the grain hauler to secondary inspection, the driver didn’t follow directions — and kept driving north on U.S. 281, according to a news release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

The grain hauler eventually stopped and agents arrested the driver.

Agents also found 14 people hiding under a tarp.

“The driver was arrested and referred for prosecution,” according to the news release. “The immigrants will be processed accordingly.”
