The founder of an organization aimed at providing clean water to communities in need made a visit to the Pharr San Juan Alamo Independent District (PSJA ISD) on Feb. 25.
The Water Rescue Foundation was founded by retired Armey Ranger Moses West.
During the visit, West spoke to students about the global water crisis and demonstrated the generator used by the foundation.
“These children today are gonna be the engineers that work on this technology in the future after I’m gone,” said West at the event.
According to a release, the generator works by extracting moisture from the atmosphere and turns it into fresh water. The generator has been used in Flint, Michigan, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas.
