PHARR, Texas (KVEO) — A food distribution site will be in place for students and families of Vanguard Academy Charter School.
According to a release, the event will be held at the Vanguard Rembrandt Secondary located on 1200 E. Kelly Avenue, on June 19 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., or until supplies last.
The organizers are requiring a form of identification and proof of address. They also ask attendees to wear a mask.
The Food Bank RGV teamed up with Walmart and the Walmart Foundation and the Collaborative for Fresh Produce (CFP) to provide food to 1,000 families.
