Flea markets reopen across the valley with restrictions

Local News

ALAMO, Texas — The Pulga de Alamo is back open with restrictions in place.

Some of the Rio Grande Valley’s most popular weekend spots are flea markets, which host vendors of many products.

Signs posted outside remind visitors facemasks are required at the flea market.

Additionally, social distancing is encouraged at the market.

John White passes out biblical pamphlets outside the flea market and says he is happy to do that again.

“I’m a Jesus man, I work for Jesus and I get to meet a lot of people and share with them the gospel,” said White.

The Mercadome is only allowing 25 percent capacity at the flea market.
