Experts Say Red Tide Cells Declining

According to Red Tide Rangers, cell count responsible for the red tide is slowly decreasing.

The red tide is a bloom of toxic algae that causes water coloration and can be fatal for some wildlife.

The aerosol created by this algae is non fatal for humans but can cause complications for those with respiratory problem.

The red tide was last strongest in early this month when fishes were washing up dead on the shores.

Authorities at Texas Parks and Wildlife state the red tide is still ongoing and the bay area is improving.
