The International Museum of Art and Science (IMAS) has created a partnership with the Food Bank RGV and 5×5 Brewing Co. to help collect donations for the community.
The project consists of artists using barrels as an empty canvas. The art pieces will then be placed in various spots throughout the city of Mission to collect donations.
“This is the first time we are doing a project of this nature, and because we are an art and science museum this is a fun way to tie it all together but also offers community support to our partners,” said Anastasia Perez, Director of Development of Marketing IMAS.
This project will lead to the 12th Annual Night at the Brew-seum at the IMAS.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 4.
The barrels will also be displayed at the museum.
