Police are investigating after a shots fired call and drive-by shooting at the same location over a period of two days.

Elsa Police Chief Robert McGinnis said police received the first call on Sunday night in the area of FM 88 and Villa Vista.

McGinnis said that a juvenile male walked up to a home and fired three shots.

McGinnis added that following a case workup, the juvenile male was picked up Monday night on a local warrant. He’s currently at the juvenile detention center.

The second call was following a drive-by shooting at the same location.

McGinnis said that the shots came out of a passenger window of a vehicle. He added that the bullets were of the same caliber as the shooting the night before.

No injuries were reported in either shooting.
